Bittensor Infrastructure
Bittensor is a decentralized machine learning network that leverages the $TAO token to incentivize and reward valuable AI contributions. The ecosystem is structured around three core participant roles, working together to process tasks and improve AI performance:
Miners: Offer computational power and train AI models. They compete to deliver the most accurate and relevant responses to user queries.
Validators: Review and score outputs from miners based on quality, relevance, and accuracy. Their assessments help surface the most effective models.
Users: Submit prompts and tasks to the network, paying in $TAO to receive AI-generated outputs from miners.
When an AI request is submitted, validators distribute the task to miners and later evaluate the responses. This mechanism, known as Proof-of-Intelligence (PoI), ensures that higher-quality answers—as judged collectively by validators—lead to higher rewards. Both miners who generate strong results and validators who accurately assess them are compensated in $TAO based on their impact.
Through this process, Bittensor transforms AI output generation into a form of competitive mining: the more intelligent and helpful the result, the more $TAO is earned. With the integration of the Exion Protocol, participants may also earn $EXION for securing and improving the AI layer, creating an additional incentive aligned with decentralized innovation.
